Studio Agreement
Xparity™ is operated by Canuko Inc. Version 1, November 5, 2026.
Who this is between
This agreement is between Canuko Inc., which runs Xparity™ ("Xparity", "we"), and the studio or publisher launching a game on Xparity ("you"). You accept it by ticking the box when you launch a game.
Non-exclusive
Xparity is not exclusive. You can promote your game anywhere else, with any creators, at the same time. Xparity can work with any other studio, including ones whose games compete with yours.
Your game and your rights
You keep every right in your game. You confirm that you own its marketing rights and the keys you add, or that you have the publisher's written permission to run the campaign and give the keys out.
Listing your game lets Xparity display, showcase and advertise your game and studio, including their names, logos, art and campaign results, on Xparity and in Xparity's marketing, including after you remove your game.
How campaigns and pricing work
You set one price per 1,000 verified views. Xparity's 15% fee is included in that price, never added on top; creators receive the other 85%.
Your budget is paid up front by card, through Stripe. It is a cap, not a charge: views are paid from it until it runs out or the campaign window ends, and you only pay for verified views delivered.
Verified views are public YouTube views on a submitted long-form video, counted after it is submitted and while the campaign round runs. Xparity checks for fake or bought views and decides which views are verified. Xparity does not guarantee any number of views, sales, wishlists or other results.
Keys and creators
Approved creators claim keys automatically, one per creator per game. By claiming one, a creator agrees to publish at least one long-form video about your game while the campaign runs. Not every key leads to a video; creators who don't post in time can have their key claims paused.
Creators are independent. They are not your employees or Xparity's, and they keep their own voice: studios don't script or approve videos. Creators must mark each video as a paid promotion on YouTube. If you think a video breaks the rules, you can report it; Xparity reviews it and decides.
If you add a First Video Bonus, it is paid up front with your budget (plus the 15% fee) and goes to the first videos that reach the bonus target, after a review period. Bonus money nobody wins goes back to your budget once the campaign has ended.
Pausing, ending and removing your game
You can pause a campaign at any time; videos already in keep earning until the round ends. You can remove your game from Xparity at any time.
Budget left over when a campaign ends can be refunded to your card, minus the 15% fee on that amount. A game listed as Coming soon has no budget and can be removed at any time.
Past campaigns stay documented on Xparity after a campaign ends or a game is removed: the game's listing as ended, its videos, verified views, payments and results. The videos belong to their creators and stay on YouTube.
Fair use of Xparity
Your game and the materials you add must be lawful and yours to share. Don't buy views, game the view count, or ask creators to. Xparity may decline, pause or remove a listing that breaks this agreement or the law, and will tell you why.
Liability
Xparity is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Xparity is not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and its total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Xparity in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update this agreement. We will tell you before a change applies to you, and the version you accepted is kept on record. This agreement is governed by the laws of Canada and of the province where Canuko Inc. has its head office.
